Growing up, I was very exposed to the arts and music by my parents and my heart has been captivated ever since. Here are the top 5 influences art can have on you and how it can change your life.
1. It Speaks For You

Art in itself has a language of its own and allows us to speak to anyone around the world. The way the brush has been swiped on the canvas, the fleeting melodies in the chorus of a song, or the angle at the click of the camera, can all be interpreted and understood by anyone.
When you cannot put your thoughts into words, art will speak for you.
It will help you express your feelings in a new way that can communicate with anyone who views, hears, or touches it. Using art to express ourselves is a tool we must use to spread our positive messages around the world.

2. Indulge in Emotions

In order to really connect with a work of art, you must indulge in the emotion of it. Different art can portray, and even make us feel, different emotions when viewing it or listening to it.
The longer you stare at that painting or listen to that song, the deeper you feel what the artist wants to convey.

3. Enter a Magical World
Not only can you enjoy different emotional depths through art, it also has the capability to let you enter a new world.
Art can be used as a vehicle that takes you to places you’ve never been before (even without you leaving the doors of your home!). Galleries and music studios aren’t the only places where art can be seen:
- ♥️ There is art within your home
- ♥️ Out in nature
- ♥️ Within yourself and others
Enjoy the ride.

4. Relax and Reduce Stress

Art is able to take you out of your world and into another one. By immersing yourself in a great painting, song, or photograph, it can slow you down and calm your mind. So engage with as many works of art as you can. The calmness will creep in since art really is the best therapy!
5. Open Your Mind
If you look at things differently, there is art everywhere.

Art has given so much meaning to this world. It isn’t just a canvas or a music player. It can definitely be in anything and everything we come across in life.
- The light on the sidewalk
- How you look when you wake up
- The birds and their beautiful song
- The sunset (or rise!)
When you see art in everything, you’ll see a lot of reasons to be thankful.
Summary:
Art has the power to bring happiness and tranquility to each of our lives. Without it, the world woudn’t have the same flare. So go out there, and enjoy it.
