Latest News: My new single out is a J Balvin cover for the song “Rojo”. I decided to cover this song because not only I think it’s perfectly written, but I wanted to test myself on producing a different genre of music. Turns out, I fell in love with it.

André, thank you for joining us today at VQS. Take us back in time to how you first fell in love with music.
Music has been part of my life since the beginning. My parents were always blasting music in our apartment back home in Caracas, Venezuela. We had big stereo systems at home and they were always on. Road trips, gatherings, even when cleaning, there was always music on. I think that subconsciously this made me fall in love with music, so by the time i was 11 or 12, i was completely in love with artists like Blink-182, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Korn, and Metallica. By the time I was 14, i got my first guitar and started my first band back home in Venezuela, the band was called Uranium, and we just played music from 2004 to 2011.

What 3 core values do you believe are necessary for success?
Being determined, being humbled, and always wanting to learn more. 

Who have been some of your favorite people/projects to work with?
I’ve been working for major labels since 2011 when I started interning at Warner Music Group, which led to an 8 year career with the company. I’ve had the opportunity to work with acts like Linkin Park, Zedd, Ross Golan, Trippie Redd, Dua Lipa, and others. I think my favorite has to be Linkin Park. 

What future opportunities would you like to be involved with?
I’d like to own a publishing company.
