Anna McBabe – Fall

Fun, catchy and full of hope!

Hi Anna, welcome to VQS!
Tell us a little bit about you and your music.

I’m an independent artist based in Boston. I typically write sad love songs, but with this new release I decided to pick up the pace a bit. I strive to have my listeners relate to my music because that’s all I really need.

Congrats on the release!
What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?

I am always filled with nostalgia and pure happiness when the fall season starts.

Released on October 29, 2021. I can look at the sky and it will bring me back to a relationship I had years prior, or even a memory I had with friends. It’s the season where I always fall in love, or out of love. I wanted to write about those moments I’ve had, but I wanted to write an upbeat song rather than a sad one. I really wanted my listeners to relate and dance to this song.

What is your vision for this song?

I want people to lay back and relax when they listen to this song. The original idea I envisioned was driving through a tunnel with the windows down late at night, blasting this song with your friends or loved ones. I want this song to bring people pure happiness. I want my listeners to unapologetically be themselves.

What is your favorite part of the song?

I added a bell sound into the choruses, and I absolutely fell in love with the sound as soon as I heard it. I can’t lie, I love the chorus and the way it makes me feel.
