Charles Grace’s “Quelle”

Charles’ new single, “Quelle

“Quelle” brings an upbeat journey of honesty and broken prayers with awesome guitars and vocals.

Hi Charles, welcome to VQS! Tell us a little bit about you and your music.

I have been writing and performing for over 15 years. Born in Anaheim, raised in South Carolina. Now I live in Fullerton. My favorite album of all time is Grace by Jeff Buckley. I am a huge fan of 90s R&B. New full length debut album dropping this summer! There are going to twelve tracks total. Super proud of this body of work.

” Who we are should inform what we do, but what we do should not become who we are.” – Charles Grace

Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration when you were writing this song?
It is essentially a broken prayer of where I wanted to be but knew I wasn’t there at the time when I wrote it.
What is your vision for this song? What lessons would you like to impart with your audience?
Who we are should inform what we do, but what we do should not become who we are.
What is your favorite part of the song?
My favorite part of the song is the brief section at the end of the chorus with the lyrics “I’d give it all at the altar just to find my joy in You.” If a song can have a thesis statement, then that is it.
Anything else we should know about it? Future releases? Upcoming shows?
Stay tuned to my social media pages for updates on the new album and music video release this year.
