Hi Daniela, welcome to VQS!
Tell us a little bit about you and your music.
London based independent singer and songwriter DANIELA shows a long-life passion for music.
She writes heartfelt songs about soul-searching, self-reliance, relationships, her identity and life’s changing stories. Her original compositions take influence from neo-soul, jazz, pop and Italian music creating a unique and genuine sound, like Amy Winehouse, Sabrina Claudio, Lana del Rey, Paloma Faith.

What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?
Released on November 26, 2021. The EP project was born out of the desire to share some of my most significant stories, thoughts, emotions and hopefully, in the process being able to reach other people’s hearts. To me this is the beginning of something beautiful, the opportunity to take my first steps towards an original compositions projects while making music finely tuned in with my soul.
What is your vision for this song?
In this song I wanted to reflect on the challenges of being true to ourselves and the world around us.
In life, we all have been facing rejection, issues with self esteem and personally I haven’t always been able to be strong enough to stand as my authentic self. I hope this song will inspire and challenge people to go beyond their fears and share their individual truth and dreams with the rest of the world.
What is your favorite part of the song?
My favourite part of the song is the last chorus with the overlaying of the vocals, horns sections and trumpet solo by Alex Otta.

The full 4 tracks EP will be released in spring 2022.
