Hannah brings a beautiful song of peace and empowerment, when we need it most.
Hi Hannah, welcome back to VQS. Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration for this song?
My inspiration for this song is America and what we are going through today. We are coming together as one to fight all obstacles and all that is not equal. When we unite we can not be divided. I see and hear too much hate going on and not enough love.
“My vision for this song is strength and unity.”
What lessons would you like to impart with your audience?
I don’t want people to choose sides and start a battle. I want for everyone to work together. This battle/battles we have been fighting for years and today need to end. At the end of the day we are HUMAN. Nothing can change that. What we can change is thee amount of hate. Start listening more rather than argue. Educate those who may not know, talk to people and not at people.
The lessons i would like to impart with my audience is work with people that want to work with you and if they don’t, do not create hate. Instead grow from it, because when you grow, it can make others want to grow with you.
What is your favorite part of the song?
My favorite part of the song is right after the trumpet solo it goes into a choir section and gets my eyes a bit watery every time because I really felt the world on my shoulders when I was singing.
Anything else we should know about it? Future releases? Upcoming events?
I have another release July 3rd titled “Calling.” I’m also very excited about that release. It is a totally different genre but I know it will be one that others will love and share as well. No shows right now due to Covid-19, but once we are in the clear I can’t wait to see my fans again.
