Smooth, groovy and full of spice!

Hi Hannah, welcome to VQS!
Tell us a little bit about you and your music.

I am a trumpet player and discovered my vocal gift in 2018.

I’m currently living in Los Angeles, CA and working on getting more heard and known around the world with the music that I’m creating. I have 11 singles out and working on more as we speak. I never saw myself as a singer but once I started realizing the sound I have is different than all else, it made me want to start singing my own songs. Of course all my songs are going to have horn arrangements that were all written by me and trumpet solos.
I want people to remember that having a trumpet or trumpets on a track really does change the whole mood of the song and really does speak more to people when listening. My music is all based of my own life experiences and what I’m going through or thinking of in that particular moment. I want listeners to vibe out and think back to how my lyrics can relate to them. If they don’t, its okay because I know the beat alone will for sure have them swaying back and forth.

Congrats on the release!
What was your inspiration when you were writing this project?

My inspiration for this song is body language.

Released on October 28, 2021. Watching someone dance really does put you in a daze that can have you day dreaming or wishing you had moves like that. When I heard this beat by Skev Beats, It immediately had me thinking of my wife and how she moves her body makes me want to get on the dance floor and really gravitate to her grooves. The beat is not only sexy but it gives you these feelings that make you want to vibe out. You can listen to this song while cooking dinner, hanging with friends, driving down the coast, or sipping on some coffee in the am with an oversized hoodie on. Skev Beats really has inspired my new sound and artistry for 2021 and continues for all the new releases besides this current one that I have coming out. The energy he put into making this beat, I really felt and clearly gave me inspiration as soon as I heard it.

What is your vision for this song?
What lessons would you like to impart with your audience?

My vision for this song is for it to go viral and really make people relax and tune into their inner energy that gives them all the good positive feelings. The lessons I want to impart with my audience is to enjoy life! Don’t be afraid to show who you are and what you are feeling. If you want to move your body when listening to my music at the gym go right ahead. Who cares what people think. As long as you’re not hurting anyone, why not enjoy who you are and what or who really makes you happy inside.

What is your favorite part of the song?

My favorite part of the song would have to be the harmonies on the vocal lines and horn lines. It’s not much but enough to really give my audience room to explore ideas. I also love the way Adrian Michael mixed the vocals and trumpets on the whole song to give it more of a soft sexy approach.
Overall, my favorite part is the whole song! No need to skip sections, just enjoy!

Anything else we should know about it? Future releases? Upcoming events?
