Karma, thank you for joining us today at VQS. Take us back in time to how you first fell in love with music.

I first fell in love with music from as early as 2-3 years old. I remember getting excited whenever I would hear the radio play. I would place my head against the speaker and listen to see if I could hear all of the different sounds and voices and eventually was able to mimic most of them before even learning their names. From there I would go on to make up my own sounds and songs until I got on the radio too. The rest is history I guess.

What 3 core values do you believe are necessary for success?

Currently I am still working my latest singles “The Birthday Song” and “Cry” both of which have done great on my site, streaming platforms, radio and tour. I am rebranding them with new visuals for an official re-release and then looking to drop a new single either later Summer or early fall.

Who have been some of your favorite people/projects to work with?

The 3 core values necessary for success are transparency which can likely insure that the success you do have you can keep with no recourse, integrity which goes a long way in people’s ability to trust and call you back for the job or refer you, and diligence which is vital in this business as some times seem harder than ever but you have to dig deep, keep working and stay the course.

Who have been some of your favorite people/projects to work with?

I really enjoyed my time touring with Joyner Lucas. His work ethic, team and overall energy was so inspiring to me and made me worker harder for the day I could headline my own tour.

What future opportunities would you like to be involved with?

I would love to continue a lot of work in the community. Before this Quarantine, I was quietly volunteering and donating weekly to a great organization called Peggy Beatrice Foundation and I’m also organizing the relaunch of my mother’s nonprofit Helping Gods Children as well.
