“This song its all about love and it was only possible because of all the hard work of friends and great musicians.” – Thiago Muller

Thiago, welcome back to VQS! Tell us a little bit about you and your music.

My name its Thiago Muller Im a composer and singer songwriter originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. As a songwriter its part of my job to write different kind of styles, collaboration its a big part of my work. So my songs in the majority of time have a musical influence of the artist that is working with me.

My passion is music and creating the right melody lyrics for a song its the goal. I love folk songs and latin music, like samba, Bossa Nova, acoustic and raw sounds, elements that remind me of my hometown.

Congrats on the release! What was your inspiration for this song?

Thank you very much! This song was so special for all of us involved on the project, its a release with one of my best friends here in LA, Bruno Romano. We wrote with another great and talented friend of ours Marco Echeverria an amazing percussionist and producer.

This song its all about love and it was only possible because of all the hard work of friends and great musicians.

It was so special the vibe in the studio, each friend of ours putting their sounds to our project really made this song extra special. Our inspiration to the song was seeing everyone involved a family of musicians doing what they love.

What is your vision for this song? What lessons would you like to impart with your audience?

Every time that we release a new song we have to think big, we have to believe that its a amazing project even if we see some mistakes here and there. The vision is as important as the song, think positive and believe the project will succeed, each of us have our own take on success and I am very satisfy already with what the project brought to us.
There is so much work to put in a song, from the mixing and mastering, all the revisions, the drums sounding too loud, the vocal takes being at the same level, we always want to make the perfect version. What we want to impart to our audience: the great energy of the song, and we do hope that when people listen to it they can capture and feel that good vibe and love that was put into to this song.

What is your favorite part of the song?

There is a samba part on the song that is very special to me. Growing up in Rio samba was always a type of music that was present in my life. So when I listen to the song and the samba part starts, the instruments, the heat, I feel at home, the Carnaval in Rio.

Anything else we should know about it? Future releases? Upcoming shows?

First of all, thank you for having me here again and Im so happy to be part of a blog like this that is encouraging and helping artists. Releasing more songs and doing some ‘live streams’ on different platforms, trying to work from home in times like this and staying busy as I can. Writing a lot and taking good care of my health and mind. Im collaborating with different artists on projects and will have something for you guys very soon.
