Latest News: “My new single and music video released on March 15th, 2020 and we are so incredibly thrilled about it! The song was initially written for my now husband as a surprise at our wedding, March 15th, 2019. At first I wasn’t planning on releasing it but after the response I received from the guests and wedding party, I decided to go ahead and share it with the world! The music video is also of our wedding and some of the fun highlights of the night! You can check out both on all online streaming platforms as well as Amazon and Apple music!” – Erin
Erin, thank you for joining us today at VQS. Take us back in time to how you first fell in love with music.
I fell in love with music from before I can remember. My mom said I was singing before I was talking and would walk around the house at age 5 singing and making up songs and lyrics. My first real memory of a true musical performance is when I sang an original musical theatre work at age 7 for the local home school group; I loved it so much that I instantly become obsessed!
What 3 core values do you believe are necessary for success?
I believe being persistent is the most key, followed by having quality content and then a strong faith or religious base, if not religious, than family/friend base because things get dark very quickly in our industry and you need something or someone to be able to lift you up and keep you moving forward.

Who have been some of your favorite people/projects to work with?
That’s such a tough question, because I’ve worked with some absolutely incredible and talent people since I moved to LA. I would say I have a top 5 and not in any particular order as they are all pretty level with each other. One was probably the time I Co-Starred on Parenthood the NBC/Universal TV show with Dax Shepard, where I got to perform an original song in his “recording studio” on the show. Two would be when we shot my music video “Tennessee Lie” and I got to work with my good friend and Emmy Award winning Director/Producer Evan Zissimopulos as well as 50 other amazing cast and crew members! Three would be working with my Grammy Award producer Mikal Blue on my past 3 songs; everyone in his studio is so incredibly talented, and it’s such a breath of fresh air to be in the same room with these amazing people! Four would be opening for some of my favorite talent of all time, Danielle Bradberry from the Voice, Russell Dickerson, Big & Rich and A Thousand Horses at Oakheart Country Music Festival last year followed by doing a live show in Downtown LA at LA LIVE for the country music festival Round Up! Finally, number five would be my 2018 Florida tour where I kicked it off opening for Love & Theft at Tampa Bays, PaddyFest. I worked with an amazing booking agent, Jane McKee for the tour and we played shows at the Tampa Bay Rays Baseball stadium, Hard Rock Casino and the 35th Anniversary party for St. Anthony’s Triathlon along with 15 other venues for the 2 month tour!
What future opportunities would you like to be involved with?
For the future I’m looking into doing more acting and TV shows as well as playing some of the bigger festival shows for 2020-2021. It’s been tough with everything going on, so it’ll be interesting to see how the rest of the year plays out. We may just have to put everything on hold and continue to do live shows and small crew music videos for 2020 and hit the ground running for 2021!
